Acorns & Oaks Christian Academy is located on-site at Perry Lutheran Homes King’s Gardens Campus where “Grandmas and Grandpas” in long-term care can’t wait to love and share experiences with the children. Both our daycare and preschool are located in bright and cheerful spaces. There are lots of indoor and outdoor spaces and places to safely explore!

We serve families throughout the community of Perry and beyond! You don’t have to work at Perry Lutheran Homes to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind daycare and preschool experience for your child(ren).

Babies and children ages 6 weeks through 5 years are nurtured in a safe, Christian environment while learning about Christ’s love for them and will have lots of grandmas and grandpas to love them each and every day!

Acorns & Oaks Christian Academy offers personalized levels of care and learning.

  • Our Daycare space is designed to deliver personalized levels of care and learning:
      • Our “Acorns” infant room is designed for babies 6 weeks through 18 months
      • Our “Sprouts” space is designed for children 18 months through 3 years
      • Our “Seedlings” space is designed for children 3 years through 5 years

Daycare hours are from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm on Monday through Friday.

  • Our 3 & 4 year-old “Saplings” Preschool space is designed around 6 classroom centers to provide a classroom led by the curiosities and needs of your child:
      • Nature Center to create experiences with science
      • Math & Manipulatives Center to promote hands-on learning by doing
      • Art & Literacy Center to explore creativity with a variety of materials
      • Library Center to include themed and a variety of interesting books
      • Practical Life Center to develop skills needed for everyday life such as preparing snacks, washing dishes, zipping, buttoning, tying shoes, folding laundry, etc.
      • Godly Play Center to explore Bible stories through hands-on story figures. For example, a wooden whale, boat and person for Jonah and the Whale.

Preschool class will be from 8:00AM – 11:30AM on Monday through Friday.
