The early days of breastfeeding can sometimes mean sore, chapped,
and cracked nipples which is why Bug & Pickle created a rich
lanolin-based Nipple Cream that forms a barrier to help relieve pain that may be associated with breastfeeding.
Why We Love It: - Nourishing and protective
- Provides relief, sweet relief
- Can also be used on dry or cracked lips or dry cuticles
How to Use:
Starting
a few weeks before your due date, prime your nipples (and by nipples we
mean the full meal deal – remember, it’s not nipple feeding, it’s
breast feeding) by gently applying a light layer over your nipple and
areola with clean hands. Continue to use Nipple Cream after your baby’s
birth as necessary. Nipple Cream does not need to be removed before a
baby nurses, however should the cream appear to effect baby’s nursing
then gently remove the cream with a soft cloth prior to nursing.
Note:
if you are allergic to wool we suggest you test drive this cream
somewhere a little less sensitive than your nipples to make sure you
don’t react to it in any way.
Contains: - 100% natural ingredients (lanolin)
- No synthetic fragrance, colour or preservatives
- Not tested on animals
I
had expected breastfeeding to be a breeze and come naturally, so
imagine my surprise when it hurt in the beginning and my nipples became
cracked and were bleeding. I wanted to continue but I also didn’t want
to be in pain, and I remembered you’d had a nipple cream (I used your
Belly Cream during pregnancy and no stretch marks!) and I thought it
was worth trying. I used it regularly after my daughter breastfed to
soothe my nipples and within a week or so she and I both had the hang
of breastfeeding and it didn’t hurt anymore! Victoria, Ryan’s mum |
